Hanson College of Business, Health & Technology Gives Back to the Community

Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” The employees of Cambrian at Hanson wholeheartedly embodied this at the Toronto campus as they began a new initiative of “Dress Down Fridays”. This was created in hopes of raising funds and awareness to support the less fortunate and give back to the community through various initiatives including employment training, family counselling, independent living programming, harm reduction, education and recreational programs.

Every Friday, employees of the Cambrian at Hanson Toronto campus donate $2 or more to support the community and the cause while getting the opportunity to sport their casual attire. Hanson is extremely proud of its employees at the Toronto campus for raising a grand total of $1500 through this initiative, making it a great success.
