Hanson College Consolidates Cambrian at Hanson Programming to Brampton Campus

(Toronto, February 24th 2025) – Hanson College announces the consolidation of its Cambrian at Hanson programming to the Brampton campus, integrating students from the Toronto location with their peers in Brampton.  This strategic decision comes in response to recent federal government policy changes that have limited the college’s ability to enroll new international students.

To maintain the high quality of education and services that students expect, Hanson College is streamlining its operations by centralizing programming at the Brampton campus.  This move ensures that students continue to receive the best possible learning experience while optimizing resources for long-term sustainability.

The Toronto campus will remain operational and transition into a career college focused on training for in-demand employment sectors.  This shift aligns with Ontario’s workforce needs and contributes to addressing labor shortages in critical industries.  Hanson College has recently launched a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program at the Toronto campus, with additional high-demand programs set to be introduced in the near future.

“We remain committed to our students, faculty, and staff during this transition,” said Shouyi Ma, President and CEO of Hanson Canada.  “By consolidating our Cambrian at Hanson programming in Brampton and expanding career-focused training in Toronto, we are ensuring that we continue to provide top-tier education while supporting Ontario’s labor market and protecting jobs.”

Hanson College looks forward to welcoming students to the Brampton campus and growing its career college offerings in Toronto. More details about upcoming programs and enrollment opportunities will be announced soon.
