We had the privilege of hosting an unforgettable evening – one that honoured two decades of partnership, celebrated community generosity, and spotlighted the transformational power of collaboration.
At the heart of the celebration was a remarkable milestone: 20 years of partnership between Cambrian College and Hanson College. As Ontario’s first Public College – Private Partnership, this pioneering collaboration has opened doors to high-quality Canadian education for thousands of international students since 2005. Many of these students have gone on to build prosperous futures in Canada and beyond, demonstrating the far-reaching impact of accessible, inclusive education.
“We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of the Hanson Venture Lab at Cambrian College and witness the impact it will have on students,” said Shouyi Ma, President and CEO of Hanson Canada. “This space is designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and provide them with the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.”
The evening also offered an opportunity to recognize the generous sponsors of the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation, whose steadfast support contributed to the success of the 2025 Dragon Ball Gala. The funds raised will help ensure that seniors across the Greater Toronto Area continue to receive culturally appropriate care at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care. These contributions are more than just financial – they represent investments in dignity, wellness, and compassion for some of our most vulnerable community members.
Throughout the event, one message echoed loud and clear: when we come together, we thrive. Whether through education or health care, the individuals and organizations we celebrated are united by a shared commitment to uplifting lives and strengthening communities. They remind us that meaningful change is always possible when driven by purpose, powered by partnership, and fuelled by compassion.
