
Toronto, ON – Hanson Canada and Cambrian College are pleased to announce the grand opening of the Hanson Venture Lab on April 3, 2025. This new innovation hub, made possible by a generous $1.3 million donation from Hanson Canada, will provide students with the resources, mentorship, and collaborative space needed to develop their entrepreneurial ideas and launch successful businesses.
“We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of the Hanson Venture Lab at Cambrian College and witness the impact it will have on students,” said Shouyi Ma, President and CEO of Hanson Canada. “This space is designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and provide them with the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.”


The Hanson Venture Lab represents the success of 20 years long-standing collaboration and partnership between Hanson Canada and Cambrian College. This milestone highlights both institutions’ shared commitment to fostering student success and innovation. “We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Hanson since 2005 and this collaboration will help expand opportunities for students,” says Cambrian College President, Kristine Morrissey. “The Hanson Venture Lab will give our students a dedicated environment to bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life.”
