Course Overview:

This foundational module equips students with essential knowledge and hands-on skills for careers in esthetics and medical esthetics. Key topics include skin science, safety and sanitation, anatomy, cosmetic chemistry, and professional skincare treatments.

Students will learn traditional and advanced techniques such as exfoliation, hair removal, makeup, body treatments, and introductory laser, IPL, and radio frequency procedures. The course also covers client consultation, nutrition, business fundamentals, and the professional scope of medical estheticians.

4. Product Knowledge & Chemistry
  • Identify and evaluate cosmetic ingredients and chemical formulations relevant to esthetic treatments.

5. Skin Analysis & Treatment Planning
  • Perform advanced skin analysis and develop personalized treatment protocols and plans.

6. Technical Skills & Modalities
  • Apply mechanical and chemical exfoliation techniques and operate facial and body treatment devices.
  • Perform laser, IPL, and radiofrequency-based procedures safely and effectively.
  • Provide makeup application, basic waxing, and body treatments including cellulite reduction and skin tightening.

7. Career Preparation
  • Prepare professional resumes and demonstrate job interview skills for success in the esthetics field.
