The curriculum includes all of the approved courses required by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) in Ontario to qualify to write the National Knowledge Exam in human resources management. Successful completion of the approved coursework and the National Exam are two of the five components required to achieve the designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). CHRP Designation:
The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) regulates the human resources management profession in Ontario and issues the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Completion of HRPA’s certification process confers the right to use the title Certified Human Resources Professional and the right to use the initials C.H.R.P. or CHRP after one’s name. It is the responsibility of the graduate to pursue certification.

To be considered, applicants require a post-secondary diploma from an Ontario College or equivalent, including a recognized 2 or 3 year program, with grades in all courses being over 50%.
Applicants from non-English-speaking countries must achieve the minimum requirements of an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 issued in the past 24 months. A Duolingo score of 120+.

- Exemptions may be granted to students who have completed at least 3 years of formal academic studies in which English was the medium of instruction.
- Students can also satisfy the English language proficiency requirement by successfully completing the EAP program offered by Hanson Language School.
*Hanson College of Business, Health & Technology specializes in educating international students and only accepts non-Canadian applicants possessing valid study permits into programs for which it partners with Cambrian College.
